The opportunity
We are looking for a Personal Assistant to join HWLE's Melbourne office. We have a friendly team culture, and our administrative support team is at the core of our success. In this role, you might be busy with:

  • assisting Partners and other legal staff
  • using various court filing systems
  • reporting and monthly billing using our file management system, Aderant
  • preparation of correspondence, contracts and other documents
  • diary management, liaising with clients, file opening and other administration tasks

To succeed in this role, ideally you'll have:

  • among law student applicants, we require at least 2 years remaining in your studies (graduating 2028 or later). Full‑time availability is preferred, though we will consider job share arrangements for part‑time students.
  • experience with administrative support to Partners/Executives within professional services.
  • excellent attention to detail.
