The opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Word Processor to join our Sydney office on a part-time basis to support the firm nationally. We have a friendly team culture, and our Business Services team is at the core of our success. The role is fast paced and will suit someone with demonstrated experience processing a high volume of data with strong accuracy.
You'll be busy with
- typing of correspondence and documents for operators nationally, providing varied services such as compares, redaction, reformatting documents and long transcripts
- answering queries from staff and Partners in relation to Microsoft Word Processing packages, document creation, formatting and precedent usage
- liaising with other Word Processing staff and/or the relevant operators as required in order to meet deadlines for the performance of work
- conducting training sessions and inductions for staff as requested; and
- assisting with office wide and firm wide projects such as preparing for presentations, mail merges and mass mail outs
To succeed in this role, ideally you'll have
- ideally 2+ years' experience preferably within a law firm environment
- excellent accuracy with processing volume
- strong Microsoft office skills, particularly Word
- good time management, attention to detail and organizational skills
- experience with Phillips big hand is advantageous
