The opportunity
We are seeking a commercially minded Business Development Specialist with a strong background in professional services or related industry to join our Marketing team. In this role, you will be the key business development and marketing contact for your allocated practice group.
You'll work with
- National and state practice group heads to develop, implement and maintain group strategy.
- Partners in providing business development and profile building advice and coaching.
- Bid team members and partners to identify opportunities, shape client pursuits and deliver compelling commercial tender responses and other bids.
- Marketing team members to help develop and deliver client events and thought leadership communications.
- A broad range of firm stakeholders by providing industry and client insights and a commercial approach that supports informed decision-making.
To succeed in this role, ideally you will have
- A degree in marketing, business, communications, law or other related discipline and have several years of transferrable business development experience.
- Strong copywriting skills for bid responses and external publications.
- Strategic thinking and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well autonomously, while also enjoying collaborating with the broader national team.
