The opportunity

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Property Paralegal to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with Partners Martin Downing and Melissa Hore and their team. You will gain hands on exposure to high quality Property transactions for sophisticated clients, using enhanced IT platforms and systems.

This position offers the opportunity to see the tangible outcomes of your work across a diverse range of retail, commercial and mixed use assets. You'll be an integral part of a close knit team that values reliability, attention to detail and a strong willingness to contribute to shared outcomes, often within tight timeframes.

 

You'll be busy with

  • assisting with portfolio leasing matters, including document preparation, amendments, execution and registration
  • supporting conveyancing transactions from inception to completion
  • liaising with clients, agents and counterparties
  • file management and use of practice management systems
  • providing general property law support to the team as required

 

To succeed in this role, ideally you'll have

  • previous experience as a property paralegal or legal assistant must include leasing
  • strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • proficient in PEXA
  • clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple matters concurrently and meet deadlines
  • a proactive, reliable and team‑focused approach
