The opportunity

Join our team as People & Development Coordinator, in a varied role supporting employee life cycle processes across our People & Development function as well as our people risk and compliance activities. You'll play an important part in delivering a positive employee experience while helping ensure our people processes, training and compliance obligations are effectively managed.

This position suits a highly organised and detail-orientated coordinator who enjoys structured, process-driven work, collaboration across teams and contributing to continuous improvement within a professional services environment.

You'll be part of a team that help to:

  • Assist and participate in clerkship and graduate feedback sessions, including scheduling, tracking feedback, and supporting program engagement.
  • Monitor and report on mandatory training and compliance requirements, maintaining accurate records and supporting completion rates across the firm.
  • Assist with the administration of compliance action plans, monitor due dates, follow up action owners and escalate risks or overdue items as required
  • Coordinate people compliance audit programs, including scheduling, evidence collation, remediation tracking and close‑out documentation
  • Prepare regular reporting and dashboards including training completion, audit actions, policy attestations and people safety metrics.
  • Assist with the drafting, review, publication and document control of People & Development policies, procedures and guidance materials.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of standard operating procedures, registers and team resources.
  • Support People & Development and people risk initiatives, including process improvements, projects and program delivery.

To be successful in this role, you’ll have

  • Strong HR administrative, HR coordination or compliance support experience, ideally in a regulated or professional services environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, confidentiality and record integrity
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and follow‑ups
  • Confidence working with systems and data including HRIS, LMS, Excel trackers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions
  • Sound judgement and discretion when handling sensitive people information
  • Exposure to WHS or people safety compliance (including incident management, training or audit support) is desirable but not essential
