The opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Solicitor or Associate to join our Banking & Finance practice group. You will gain valuable experience working alongside Partners Peter Kay, Sheranga Fernando and Sarah Carroll.

Our Banking & Finance team acts for all Big 4 domestic banks, major non-bank lenders, overseas lenders and significant corporate borrowers on bilateral, club and syndicated lending transactions. Our work spans property and construction finance, retirement and aged care financing, agri finance, acquisition finance and general corporate finance matters.

 

Ideally you might have

  • 2+ years PAE in a recognised banking and finance practice in Australia or overseas
  • strategic and critical thinking capabilities with strong commercial judgement
  • appetite to develop and mentor our junior cohort
  • excellent drafting skills and attention to detail
  • ability to manage transactions efficiently and work directly with clients
  • a collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working in a high performing team
