The opportunity

The Events Coordinator will report to and support the National Events Manager, assisting with end‑to‑end event management, stakeholder coordination, and on‑site delivery. The role works closely with the marketing team, and senior stakeholders to deliver high‑quality events at HWLE. You'll be busy with:

  • planning, coordinating, and delivering events from concept through to on‑site execution and post‑event wrap‑up;
  • managing event timelines, checklists, budgets, briefs, invitations, and workflows to ensure all milestones and deadlines are met;
  • liaise with venues, suppliers, and vendors, including negotiating rates and managing event logistics;
  • lead on-the-day delivery to ensure a seamless guest experience;
  • support large‑scale events and conferences, including registrations, reporting, travel coordination, on‑site support; and
  • manage event communications and enquiries, ensuring stakeholders are aligned on expectations and deliverables.

To succeed in this role, ideally you'll have

  • a minimum of two years’ experience working in events;
  • previous experience in an events role within professional services, will be viewed favourably;
  • exceptional attention to detail;
  • strong organisational and time‑management skills;
  • the ability to build trust and strong working relationships;
  • well‑developed strategic and critical thinking capability;
  • proven experience managing multiple stakeholders;
  • experience managing event budgets; and
  • experience delivering a high volume of events.
