The opportunity
We have a unique opportunity for a dynamic candidate to join our highly regarded Sydney insurance practice working as a valued member of our close-knit team, you will work predominantly with our partner James Baird, with a particular focus on financial lines and construction. Working with insurer and insured clients, you will also have exposure to reinsurance and regulatory elements. You'll get direct client access and scope to team up with our national colleagues.

 

To succeed in this role, ideally you'll have

  • 3+ years PQE
  • Interest in financial lines and/or construction
  • Strong legal and analytic skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Strong desire to learn and progress
  • Interest in expanding experience across additional classes of insurance and reinsurance
  • Experience leading junior lawyers (for Associate level applicants)
  • Motivated, can-do approach. Ability to think outside the box and provide value-adding solutions to clients
