In insolvency space, our team regularly advise and act for voluntary administrators, receivers, liquidators, trustees in bankruptcy, secured and unsecured creditors in all aspects of the insolvency and restructuring process.

 

The opportunity

We have a unique opportunity for an associate to join our highly regarded Sydney Litigation practice, working primarily in the banking litigation and insolvency team. As part of this team, you will work closely with partners on a diverse and engaging mix of matters, including secured recoveries, non-lending loss disputes, and complex insolvency cases.

You will enjoy a balance of autonomy on certain matters and collaborative engagement on larger-scale disputes. Our work spans State, Federal, and appellate jurisdictions, and given our national client base, there are also opportunities to work with colleagues in other offices around the country.

This role offers the chance to work on top-tier matters and engage with a prominent national client base.

 

You'll be busy with

  • working with banks, lenders & insolvency practitioners
  • lending loss & non lending loss
  • work on a range of insolvency matter, both advisory & litigious

 

To succeed in this role, ideally you'll have

  • 3-5 years PAE
  • strategic and critical thinking capabilities
  • strong leadership skills to assist in developing our junior cohort
  • strong practice management and attention to detail
