The opportunity

Our Workplace Relations & Safety team advises large and medium corporate clients, insurers and government and statutory authorities. The practice is busy and growing further with high profile and high quality work in industrial relations, health and safety, investigations and employment matters. You will work with a supportive and collaborative team, enjoy a healthy work life balance, be able to participate in pro bono matters and access a transparent pathway for promotion.

To succeed in this role, ideally you'll have

  • 5+ years PAE
  • demonstrated experience or appetite to step into running contentious and/or non-contentious employment matters, e.g. safety, enterprise bargaining, unfair dismissal, investigations and general advisory work.
  • sound understanding of workplace relations, industrial relations and safety law as well as experience providing advice on employment matters across a range of commercial transactions.
  • excellent problem solving skills, and an eye for detail.
  • for senior candidates, appetite for mentoring our junior cohort.
