The opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior .Net Software Developer to join our National IT team. You will play a critical role in designing, building, enhancing and supporting the firm’s custom application stack and integration stack. The role focuses on high‑quality software development across .NET–based applications, data‑driven solutions, and system integrations spanning on‑premises and cloud platforms.

 

You'll be busy with

  • develop and maintain custom .NET applications supporting core firm operations
  • design, implement and support integrations between on‑premises and cloud platforms
  • deliver high‑quality SQL data solutions and APIs to support business workflows and reporting
  • contribute to modernisation initiatives across the firm’s application landscape
  • explore and apply AI and LLM capabilities within products and development practices

 

To succeed in this role, ideally you'll have

  • demonstrated commercial experience as a .NET software developer
  • strong proficiency in C#, .NET / .NET Core and related frameworks
  • solid experience with SQL Server development and database design
  • experience building and consuming REST APIs and system integrations
  • experience supporting and enhancing existing production applications
  • familiarity with both on‑premises infrastructure and cloud platforms
  • strong problem‑solving and debugging skills
  • ability to write clear technical documentation
  • strong communication skills and confidence working with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
