The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Solicitor or Associate to join our highly regarded Sydney Insurance practice. As a valued member of our close‑knit team, you will work predominantly with Partner James Baird with a particular focus on financial lines and construction. Working with both insurer and insured clients, you will also gain exposure to reinsurance and regulatory matters. You will have direct client access and opportunities to collaborate with colleagues across our national team.

To succeed in this role, ideally you will have

• 1–3 years PQE
• an interest in financial lines and/or construction
• strong legal and analytical skills
• excellent interpersonal skills
• a strong desire to learn and progress
• an interest in broadening your experience across additional classes of insurance and reinsurance
• a motivated, proactive approach with the ability to think commercially and provide value‑adding solutions
