The opportunity

We're looking for a motivated Solicitor to join our highly regarded Brisbane Litigation team. Working as part of a close-knit sub team of six and reporting directly to Partner, Mario Esera, the practice focuses on body corporate law. You'll be acting for bodies corporate, lot owners, property developers, management rights holders and body corporate managers on a diverse range of matters. You'll have the opportunity to assist with management rights disputes, building defects, levy recoveries, by-law enforcement, varying or reassigning agreements, scheme termination, legislative compliance and commercial lease disputes.

To succeed in this role, ideally you'll have

• 1+ year PAE in litigation;
• experience with, and an interest in, working on body corporate matters;
• strategic and critical thinking capability due to engaging in complex disputes;
• good interpersonal and communication skills to be able to deal with clients and other parties; and;
• a can-do approach with the ability to provide value-adding solutions to clients.
