The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic candidate to join our highly regarded Adelaide Litigation practice. You’ll work within a motivated team of skilled lawyers across Commercial, Banking, and Insolvency matters, led by Partner Wendy Jones. In this role, you’ll be exposed to a broad range of complex and interesting litigation, with a focus on insolvency. You’ll enjoy direct client access and the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues nationally. You'll be busy with:
- supporting the Litigation partner by leading matters and mentoring junior solicitors and associates;
- managing and leading commercial and insolvency-related litigation;
- maintaining strong relationships with key clients such as insolvency firms, financial institutions and corporate clients; and
- providing assessments and litigation advice to clients and internal teams.
To succeed in this role, ideally you'll have
- 7+ years PAE within litigation;
- a broad scope of commercial litigation experience across multiple jurisdictions;
- previous experience in complex banking recovery and insolvency matters (highly regarded);
- strategic and critical thinking capability;
- strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills; and
- willingness to work as part of cohesive local team and alongside a diverse range of colleagues and practice areas locally and nationally.
