The opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Clerk to join our dynamic national finance team supporting the continued growth and success of the business. The role is fast paced and will suit someone with demonstrated experience processing a high volume of data with strong accuracy.

You'll be busy with

  • data entry
  • Daily banking
  • processing of trust account transactions (receipts, payments, PEXA settlements)
  • trust account reconciliations
  • processing and reconciliation of controlled money in the practice management system
  • manage trust account records in accordance with statutory requirements
  • training of trust processes and accounting program to staff and communications with the wider firm stakeholders

To succeed in this role, ideally you'll have:

  • 2+ years' experience preferably within a law firm environment
  • excellent accuracy with processing volume
  • strong time management, attention to detail and organisational skills
  • experience with our practice management system (Aderant and PEXA) is advantageous, plus intermediate skills in Microsoft Office
