The opportunity

We have an opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Finance team based in our Melbourne office. These positions play a key in supporting the continued growth and success of the business. The roles are fast paced and will suit individuals who thrive in high volume settings. You might be busy with:

• daily management of cash receipts and receipting cash payments received
• reconciling bank accounts daily
• investigating unallocated cash balances including reconciling complex accounts that have been escalated
• management of client questions and internal support as required
• ensuring credit and collection policies and procedures are followed within the Firm
• timely processing invoice cancellations / adjustments as required
• actively investigating and resolving any disputes/queries within a timely and effective manner as well as assisting with client payment plans
• collating information for internal business needs as require
• supporting staff and Partners with related queries
  
  

To succeed in this role, ideally you'll have

• excellent accuracy with processing volume
• strong time management, attention to detail and organisational skills
• experience with trust accounts would be advantageous
• experience with our practice management system (Aderant) is desirable but not essential, otherwise familiarity using finance software
