The opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Administration Assistant to join our Darwin team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate, who has experience supporting an administration team. If you are detail-oriented, customer-focused, enjoy working in the office 5 days per week, and seeking experience in working within a Law Firm this role may be of interest.

This hands-on role involves a high volume of day-to-day administrative tasks including:

  • greet clients, answer calls, and manage messages professionally;
  • update staff absences, order stationery and manage staff kitchen area;
  • assist with admin tasks and provide IT support;
  • handle mail, conduct external rounds, and manage filing;
  • set up meeting rooms, book catering, and support office events;
  • manage courier bookings and deliveries; and
  • provide support with building & security maintenance when necessary.

To succeed in this role, ideally you'll have

  • experience providing admin support and office service;
  • excellent organisational skills with a mature, proactive approach;
  • have excellent communication skills with a customer service approach;
  • have strong teamwork skills; and
  • experience working within a law firm is advantageous.
