The opportunity

Our Perth Insurance Statutory Classes practice, led by Matthew Thickett, is seeking an Associate to join its high-performing team. You will have direct access to a strong client base, including a range of private insurers and self-insurers. With a high volume of matters focused on litigation, particularly in WAState workers' compensation, you will have ample opportunity to develop your advocacy skills.

Our Perth Insurance Statutory Classes practice has demonstrated its ability to grow and retain talented lawyers. Our two statutory insurance partners were promoted through our internal development program, and for those that want to take that challenge, we can make your pathway clear. To succeed in this role, ideally you'll have

• 3+ years PAE;
• experience with personal injury insurance claims;
• strong understanding of workers' compensation insurance (with CTP experience also desirable);
• good interpersonal and communication skills to be able to deal with clients and other parties;
• a great attitude, to add to our collaborative and fun team; and
• a desire to develop your career and professional network in the Insurance industry.
