We have an exciting opportunity for a Delivery Manager to join our National Technology team who is not only keen to deliver value adding transforming projects but also play a key role to uplift and mature the Project management function. This role will suit an experienced Project Manager who likes variety, managing multiple stakeholders and projects, and who is prepared to roll up their sleeves to get the job done.
In this role, you’ll lead the end to end delivery of technology and business change initiatives. Your primary focus will be hands‑on project delivery across scope, time, cost, quality and risk, with a secondary but important contribution to business analysis, including clarifying requirements, mapping processes, analysing data and supporting solution definition.
You'll be busy with
- partnering with executives, business owners, SMEs, technical teams to confirm requirements and ensure alignment on solution design and outcomes
- building out project plans, establishing teams, defining quality expectations and acceptance criteria
- managing projects end‑to‑end, including project schedules, delivery approach, governance, scheduling, budget and benefits
- managing scope and change control, ensuring impacts are assessed, communicated and agreed
- setting delivery cadence such as stand‑ups, ceremonies, reporting, and driving timely decision‑making
- maintaining the RAIDD log and implementing mitigation and contingency actions
- managing third‑party vendors, including SOWs, deliverables, timelines, acceptance and commercial controls
- working closely with the Change and Delivery lead to provide inputs into communications and training
- designing and overseeing deployment and cutover readiness, ensuring smooth transition to BAU
To succeed in this role, ideally you'll have
- tertiary qualification in Project Management, Business, IT or equivalent experience
- PMP (PMBOK) or Prince2 essential, Scrum Master and/or IIBA (BA) desirable
- experience leading multiple end‑to‑end projects in complex stakeholder environments
- strong delivery capability across scope, schedule, cost, risk and dependency management
- practical BA skills including requirements gathering, process mapping, documentation and UAT support
- strong facilitation and communication skills, able to translate between business and technical teams
- experience working with Agile, Hybrid and Waterfall methodologies
- proficient with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Planner, Visio, Excel and MS Teams
- experience in professional services (desirable but not essential)
- experience supporting vendor selection, procurement, RFP processes and contract management
