We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Trainer to join our growing IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for uplifting technology capability, confidence and effective use of the firm’s technology platforms across all staff.
You will focus exclusively on technology learning, knowledge management and driving adoption of both existing and emerging tools and applications.
You'll be busy with
- develop and lead a firm wide technology learning strategy aligned to the Technology roadmap and role requirements.
- plan and manage an ongoing technology learning calendar, including workshops, events, regular sessions, and refresh cycles.
- create and maintain engaging learning content such as e learning modules, guides, videos, and step by step walkthroughs.
- deliver and facilitate training sessions tailored to different teams, roles, and capability levels.
- establish clear standards for how technology knowledge is created, structured, stored, and maintained.
- partner with IT Support and Engineering teams to ensure all knowledge remains accurate and up to date.
- assess technology capability, confidence, and knowledge across teams and practice areas.
- identify gaps, risks, and opportunities to improve adoption of existing tools and systems.
- collaborate closely with Technology teams to stay across system enhancements, known issues, and adoption challenges.
- gather feedback from users to continuously improve learning content, delivery methods, and overall experience.
To succeed in this role, ideally you'll have
- 4 -7 years of proven experience in technology learning or IT training roles.
- tertiary qualification in Learning and Development, Education, Business, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- demonstrated experience designing and delivering technology learning solutions, including facilitating training sessions both virtual and in person through e-learning and digital learning assets, Practical user guides and knowledge articles
- strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Copilot and One note.
- proven experience building, curating, and maintaining technology knowledge bases or learning repositories.
- ability to assess user capability, confidence, and learning needs across diverse roles, and tailor learning approaches accordingly.
- experience contributing to or establishing structured technology learning roadmaps or calendars, rather than delivering ad hoc training only.
