The opportunity 

We have an opportunity to join our highly regarded Property practice group working alongside Partner Kendra McKay, an industry recognised property law expert in the National Real Estate and Projects Group. Kendra holds over 16 years of experience as a commercial property law expert and is currently named as "Recommended” real property lawyer in Doyles Guide 2024 and in Best Lawyers Australia for real property law.  

This position involves supporting the growing Sydney property team that specialise in major capital transactions and complex commercial property development and direct investment in real estate. Kendra's clients are listed property trusts, institutional developers, major corporates and multinationals that transact some of the largest property deals in Australia. 

 

To succeed in this role, ideally you'll have

  • 5+ years PAE 
  • experience in property acquisitions & disposals 
  • experience in commercial property development and leasing
  • development agreements and novation assignments
  • an understanding of property & project financing and security 
  • government infrastructure and property transactions 
  • the ability to undertake transaction management through PEXA
