The opportunity
Our Brisbane office is looking for administrative staff to provide support on a short-term basis with various contract roles available, ranging from weeks to months. These temporary roles will provide vital support as a Legal Assistant/Legal Secretary/Personal Assistant to a team of solicitors.
Day to day, your tasks will include
- assisting Partners and other legal staff;
- using various court filing systems;
- reporting and monthly billing using our file management system, Aderant;
- preparation of correspondence, contracts and other documents; and
- diary management, liaising with clients, file opening and other administration tasks.
To succeed in this role, ideally you'll have
- experience providing administrative support to Partners/Executives within professional services;
- excellent grammar, spelling and attention to detail;
- strong Excel skills;
- impeccable time management and organisation skills;
- billing experience is preferred; and
- Aderant and iManage experience is desirable.
Applicants must be willing and able to commit to a short-term contract. Given the temporary nature of the work, applicants on working holiday visas with experience in a law firm are encouraged to apply.
