The opportunity
HWLE Lawyers has a rare opportunity for an experienced Marketing Coordinator to join our national Marketing and Business Development team in Melbourne. Supporting our national Commonwealth Government practice group, this is a unique opportunity for the right person, as the role has been created in response to continued growth within the practice.
We are seeking a proactive marketing professional who enjoys working with stakeholders, contributing ideas, and supporting the delivery of high-quality marketing, business development and tender initiatives. This role offers exposure to a broad range of activities and the opportunity to work closely with our lawyers and stakeholders across the firm.
You will be responsible for supporting client proposals and tender submissions, preparing capability statements and marketing collateral, maintaining business development content and assisting with a range of projects that support client growth and engagement across the Commonwealth Government team.
To succeed in this role, ideally, you'll have
- Experience supporting marketing, business development, bids and tenders, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality client outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare compelling client proposals, tender responses, capability statements and marketing collateral with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience within a professional services environment (favourable), with an understanding of the importance of client service delivery and relationship management.
- An eagerness to learn, with the confidence to ask questions, challenge thinking constructively and continually develop new skills, knowing support and guidance is available.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and develop trusted working partnerships across the firm, including the Marketing and Business Development team.
- Self-motivated and proactive, taking ownership of tasks, identifying opportunities for improvement and anticipating client and team needs.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences and deliver client-focused outcomes.
- Organisational skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining quality.
- A commitment to understanding client needs, delivering service excellence and contributing to long-term client relationships.
