The opportunity
An exciting opportunity has become available for a People & Development Coordinator (12 Month FTC) to join our Brisbane People & Development team.
Reporting to a Senior Business Partner, this role is ideal for an emerging HR professional who is looking to build their career within a professional services environment. You will provide administrative and operational support across a broad range of people processes, while acting as a key point of contact for employees and Partners in the Brisbane office.
This role offers exposure to the full employee lifecycle, graduate and clerkship programs, learning and development initiatives, and national People & Development projects.
Key responsibilities
- provide administrative support to the National People & Development team, with a focus on the Brisbane office.
- coordinate employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding and staff movements, ensuring accurate documentation and stakeholder communication.
- manage administrative requirements associated with drafting letters and contract variations and payroll-related documentation.
- assist national People & Development projects and annual activities, including practising certificate renewals and CPD administration.
- coordinate and participate in clerkship and graduate feedback sessions, including scheduling, tracking feedback, and supporting program engagement.
- monitor and report on mandatory training and compliance requirements, maintaining accurate records and tracking completion.
To succeed in this role, ideally you will have
- experience providing support to an HR or perhaps a recruitment team, preferably within a fast-paced environment.
- a proactive approach to your work, including a passion for creative HR ideas, solutions and operations.
- passion for enabling seamless people process experiences.
- the capability to maintain a high attention to detail, whilst working at pace and among volume.
