The opportunity
We are seeking a Digital Learning and Enablement Lead to drive the firm’s learning strategy across our AI platform (Legora) as part of a national rollout.
Reporting to the Head of Digital Intelligence - Simon Hill, this role is pivotal in ensuring our people are confident, capable and supported in adopting new technologies. You will own the design and delivery of structured learning pathways, enabling lawyers and business services teams to build capability over time through a combination of training, coaching and high-quality self-service resources.
This is a national role, open to candidates in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne, working in a flexible hybrid model.
Key responsibilities

Design and implement progressive learning pathways across onboarding, practice deepening and ongoing capability uplift.

Ensure vendor-led training aligns with HWLE’s AI strategy, policies and safe-use expectations.

Develop and maintain engaging self-service learning resources (guides, videos, walkthroughs).

Coordinate and deliver national training programs (virtual and in-person), ensuring continuity beyond initial sessions.

Partner with practice groups, Legal Engineers and key stakeholders to embed learning into real workflows.

Maintain and continuously improve enablement materials as technology evolves.
About you

Experience in learning and development, enablement, legal technology, knowledge or similar professional services environments.

Strong capability in designing and delivering structured learning programs at scale.

Ability to translate technical or AI concepts into practical, user-friendly guidance.

Proven stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior professionals.

Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with evolving priorities.
